Where'd my abs go?!!

Pregnant on 12/17/13
You read it right!  My ab muscles disappeared! I've never not had "great abs" in my life... in fact, I used to be known for having the best abs around in "my day"! hahahaha...  but I've lost it! I'm bloated on the top of my stomach (I know this because the top fluctuates with restroom breaks- TMI) but the bottom has been consistent and I actually have a little "pooch" towards the bottom of my abs/pelvic area. Although all these changes are happening to by body, I can't say enough how excited Eric and I are right now and we can't wait to meet baby Coconut!
2.5 Months
Cuddle Buddies
I think Trixie may sense something is going on or a little different because she hasn't been acting herself  lately. Some days she'll completely ignore me (which has NEVER happened before) and other days she latches onto me to where I can't even walk into the restroom without her following me (which makes the trip pretty awkward, I must say). I wonder how she's going to be when Coconut is born. Eric is worried about her pawing at the baby, but I think she'll be great- as long as we make sure to show her a lot of attention as well.  This week has been quite a busy week. With work and feeling so tired all the time... all I want to do is sleep! I've been going to bed anywhere between 6:30pm and 8:30pm most nights and some days, that's even after I've had a nap earlier in the day! I haven't taken naps like this since I was in college in Ohio! hahahaha
Trixie wants milk too!
Nice lunch date last Thursday
As far as my cravings and my go-to foods my stomach has been happy with: Cold sliced peaches and bean and cheese burritos!  And yes, I eat them together!  I've never once have bought fruit at work but I catch myself getting sliced peaches every time I make it down there to eat! (Very unlike me).  My stomach hasn't been liking foods I usually don't mind eating; chicken, hamburgers, and other heavy meat, so I guess beans are a good substitute for protein.  I also have been drinking a glass of milk with Ovaltine to get my calcium and vitamin D as well (yes Mom and Dad, I've been drinking my milk!) ;) hahahaha. I've also had to change my prenatal vitamins because I wasn't able to keep the other horse pills down. I've switched to Gummy prenatal vitamins! They actually taste super good! I don't mind taking them at all! I'm still not drinking anything with Caffeine... no coffee or soda, although I have had a few sips here and there of Eric's soda, but other than that, haven't had a full can still since 11/12/13 (The day we found out I was pregnant) That's an accomplishment in itself for me being the huge soda lover I am (or was).
Mommy and Daddy are so in love!
Ohhhh baby Coconut!!! We're so excited for you! I'm going to try to keep up with this blog for you so you can look back and read it when you get older.  Your daddy kisses my belly every night before we go to sleep and everyday he tells me how excited he is to be a daddy!  He's going to be such a great dad and I can't wait to see how much fun he's going to have with you.  Our first appointment with the doctor is Janurary 3, 2014!!! Hopefully, at that time, we'll get our first glimpse of you! I think it'll really sink in that our life will be forever changed at that point (in the best way!)

To friends and family:  Please feel free to leave COMMENTS on the blog, about the blog or little messages to Coconut as one day, he or she, will grow up and be able to read them and see how much they have been loved from the very beginning! :)

Cheers!

This is going to be such an amazing journey for the whole family. We love you and can't wait to meet the new little addition in July :)
